Cookie policy

CarbonRisk Intelligence deliberately limits the use of cookies to the strict minimum required for the site to work. Google Analytics audience-measurement cookies are only set after your explicit consent. No advertising cookie is used.

1. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They are used to make websites work or to improve their efficiency, as well as to provide information to the site owners. In particular, cookies make it possible to recognise your device on subsequent visits and to offer you personalised, secure browsing.

This policy applies to the www.carbonriskintelligence.fr website, published by CARBON RISK INTELLIGENCE, and covers cookies as well as any similar technology (pixels, trackers, local storage).

2. What types of cookies are used on our site?

In accordance with the legal provisions in force, before setting or reading a cookie on a user’s computer, CarbonRisk Intelligence:

  • Informs users of the purpose of the cookies;
  • Obtains their consent where it is required;
  • Tells users how to refuse them.

On the site, we use different types of cookies for various purposes:

  • Strictly necessary cookies (exempt from consent): these cookies are essential for the Site to work and cannot be disabled. They do not store any data for advertising purposes.
  • Audience-measurement cookies: these cookies make it possible to compile statistics on traffic to and use of the Site in order to improve its content and usability. For this we use Google Analytics.
  • Functionality and third-party content cookies: video playback, embedded forms, social sharing.

Brief reminder of the regulations - cookie regulation is mainly governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the European Union’s ePrivacy directive. These texts impose an obligation to inform the user and to obtain their prior consent before setting cookies that are not essential to the provision of the service.

3. Audience measurement in detail (Google Analytics)

With your agreement, we use Google Analytics 4 to analyse how the site is used (pages visited, journeys, traffic sources) in order to improve it. This tool sets cookies (in particular _ga and _ga_*, lasting up to 13 months) and therefore requires your prior consent (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, loi Informatique et Libertés, “LIL”). No Google Analytics cookie is set until you have clicked “Accept” in the consent banner. You can change your choice at any time below.

Refusing immediately deletes the Google Analytics cookies already stored on this device (_ga, _ga_*) and blocks any further hit. If audience measurement was active on this page, the page is reloaded so the tracker already loaded in memory stops.

A refusal takes effect immediately for the following pages. Cookies that have already been set can be deleted through your browser settings.

4. No advertising cookies

We do not set any Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight or other advertising cookie. Were we one day to activate such trackers as part of an acquisition campaign, an explicit consent request would be presented to you in accordance with article 82 LIL.

5. Fonts

The Clash Display and Articulat CF fonts (CarbonRisk 2026 visual identity) are delivered by specialist third-party services: Fontshare for Clash Display and Adobe Fonts for Articulat CF. We do not use Google Fonts. These services do not set any advertising cookie; displaying them does however require a request to their servers, which receive your IP address on that occasion.

6. Managing your preferences

You can change your consent to Google Analytics at any time using the buttons in section 3. You can also delete the site’s cookies through your browser settings (“Clear browsing data”): the consent banner will reappear and the consent journey will start again from scratch on your next visit.

You can also configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

Refusing certain cookies may degrade your browsing experience or make certain features inaccessible.
