We work with an engineering firm and maintain a particularly precise database that references each part by its weight, dimensions, materials and additives.
This database is the foundation of the environmental footprint calculation: it ensures both rigorous part identification and the reliability of our assessments.

Calculations are based on the European Commission’s Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) method and on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), using recognised data (Ecoinvent). CarbonPRE quantifies CO₂ equivalent and 15 other impact categories, across the entire scope of the ELV centre.
